Upon arriving at the client’s facility, the Aopack team witnessed the BM3000-HD operating at peak performance, expertly producing a customized AAA heavy-duty slide-type box. This innovative design, which requires additional side cuts to allow the walls to fold outward or inward, offers exceptional convenience for operators when loading or unloading items. Combined with the superior protective qualities of AAA-flute corrugated board, this style of box is currently experiencing high demand in the market.
The visit highlighted the BM3000-HD’s exceptional versatility and rapid changeover capabilities. Immediately after completing the run of slide-type boxes, the machine was configured for a new order: processing AAA heavy-duty cardboard with precisely angled corner cuts. For this job, the operators utilized the machine’s advanced Vibrating Knife Cutting Function, importing a custom CAD design.
The Ningbo Dazhong team demonstrated a clever operational technique: the CAD drawing was intentionally designed to leave a micro-connection, preventing the waste material from detaching completely during production. This prevents paper jams and ensures a smooth workflow. The end-client can then easily snap off the waste material upon receipt, a simple and efficient solution.
